Honestly, sleeping bus is the best option if you are looking for the low budget tour, it takes around 6 hours straightly from Hanoi
You can choose either morning bus or night bus as the itinerary as below:
Full Detail Schedule
OPTION 1: MORNING BUS
DAY 1: (L, D) HANOI- SAPA- CAT CAT- SAPA
06:30- 07:00: Pickup at your hotel in around Hanoi Old Quarter
13:30: Sapa arrival, get pickup at the bus station to the hotel
Check in the hotel, enjoy lunch with the local dishes in the restaurant
Take the rest then join short trekking to Cat Cat Village, just around 6- 8km for 2 ways trekking, you have chance to admire Cat Cat Waterfall that is one of the most beautiful waterfall in Sapa, take some photos then come back to the hotel
Have dinner in the restaurant, free time to discover the town (church, love market, etc)
Overnight in the hotel
DAY 2:(B, L) SAPA- Y LINH HO- LAO CHAI- TA VAN- SAPA- HANOI
07:00- 08:00: Have breakfast in the restaurant
Go trekking to Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai & Ta Van Village in around 12km from Sapa Town, meet the ethnic minorities with their traditional clothes and local houses, admire the terrace fields with either green or yellow colour in the rice field season or just looking the shape of the field with the unique structure
Have lunch in the local restaurant in the village
Get on the mini bus back to Sapa Town
Pickup your luggage then go to the bus station for the return bus ticket to Hanoi
(Simple food is offered to take away from the hotel (bread with eggs, etc) )
15:30: Get on the sleeping bus for coming back to Hanoi
22:00: Arrive at Hanoi

04:00: Sapa arrival, sleep on the bus until 06:00
